Short - Non-Union
the resolution - 8-12 minute short film. A man wakes up beaten and bound to a chair. He is in a small office with a pair of filing cabinets and a small desk. He is surrounded by two men, both in overcoats, and one brandishing a pistol. The captured protagonist is a writer searching for an ending of his book about the underground drug scene. He has found his way into a bad situation with one of his subjects of study. As the man with the pistol antagonizes the protagonist he reveals not only the danger the he now faces, but also the involvement of his wife. As that story unfolds it is intercut with flashbacks to reveal more about the relationship between the man and wife.
Non-Union Actors
Protagonist - Book writer immersed in the underground drug scene. Will bebruised and beaten and placed in tense situation. Preferably small/thin build.Tears on cue a plus.
Antagonist - Drug dealer. Large or portly build preferably, not requirement.Aggressive and intimidating demeanor.
Bodyguard - large body type, strong build. Preferably over 5'11, not requirement.
Protaganist's wife -kidnapped, rescued by husband. Preferable brunette, not required. On screen tears a plus. Petite build, preferably 5'7' or shorter
