New Block of PBS KIDS Children's Programming seeks Host
We're looking for someone to be the host of a new block of children's preschool programs premiering this fall.
Do you love working around young children?
Are you fun and silly at times and altogether entertaining?
Do you have a passion for knowledge and want to support children's learning and development? If yes, PBS KIDS wants to hear from you.
Our ideal host possesses a curiosity about the world - through the eyes and understanding of a pre- schooler. He or she is motivating, charismatic, warm, creative, silly, smart, fun, well-spoken, energetic and physically agile. He or she can engage one-on-one as well as command a crowd and is available to travel throughout the year.
Big Plus: TV broadcast experience, good singer who can play guitar and/or piano, comfortable working in real and animated environments, background in preschool education or early childhood development and biligual (English-Spanish).
